Dear Baldwin Park USD Families,
The Ethnic Studies Committee completed a rigorous process to provide the Board of Education with a recommendation for an Ethnic Studies curriculum for grades 9-12. After review, pilot, and deliberation, the committee recommends Gibbs and Smith Education curriculum and instructional materials.
You are highly encouraged to take some time to preview the curriculum, as you will have an opportunity to provide us with feedback prior to the final recommendation to the Board of Education.
The public is invited to review the materials in person on the following date and time:

Friday, June 27, 2025 - 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
