Sierra Vista High Celebrates Graduating Class of 2024

The Dons’ graduation ceremony was held at the Jack B. White stadium and attended by over 1,000 people, including family members, teachers, friends, and community members ready to cheer on the accomplished students. The exciting event celebrated the achievements of 431 graduates.


The SVHS ceremony featured a salutatorian speech by Tam M. Luong, who will be attending the University of California, Irvine, and a valedictorian speech by Ai K. Lai, who will be attending the University of California, Los Angeles. Principal Vince Pratt presided over the event, and shared inspiring words for the new graduates.


The Baldwin Park Unified School District Board Member Annalynn C. Apolinario officially accepted the graduating class. The Sierra Vista High School chorus and band performed, adding to the festivities. Additional guests included BPUSD cabinet members, the Board of Education, the City of Baldwin Park’s Mayor Estrada, and other elected officials.


“These students have more than earned this achievement,” Principal Pratt said. “We are all so proud of your many accomplishments. Always remember, School Is Fun”
