Dear Baldwin Park Unified Community,
We were informed that a female student was approached by a stranger who attempted to converse with her as she walked home from school yesterday. We are asking that students, parents, and staff be on high alert and aware of their surroundings.
Please remain vigilant for the subject described as an adult male wearing a black baseball hat, black sunglasses, black tee shirt and black pants. He was also described as light skin complexion, thin built, between 35 to 40 years of age. The suspect was seen driving eastbound on Olive St., in a silver 4-door Sedan. The incident occurred near the area of Maine Ave. and Olive St., after school dismissal.
Baldwin Park Unified is collaborating with local law enforcement on the incident. The District strongly encourages students and their families to take extra caution as they are going to and from school, be on the lookout, and contact the Baldwin Park Police Department immediately at 626.960.1955 ext. 0 if you see a person who fits this description. Should you see any suspicious activity or are confronted by a stranger, immediately call 911.

Nos han informaron que un extraño se acercó a una estudiante e intentó hablarle mientras caminaba hacia su casa después de clases ayer. Pedimos que los estudiantes, padres y personal estén en alerta máxima y conscientes de su entorno.
Permanezcan atentos al sujeto descrito como un hombre adulto que llevaba una gorra de béisbol negra, gafas de sol negras, camiseta y pantalones negros. También fue descrito como de tez clara, constitución delgada, de entre 35 a 40 años de edad. El sospechoso fue visto conduciendo hacia el este por Olive St., en un sedán plateado de 4 puertas. El incidente ocurrió cerca de la esquina de Maine Ave. y Olive St., después de la salida de la escuela.
El Distrito Unificado de Baldwin Park está colaborando con las autoridades locales en este asunto.
