From March 4th to March 8th, elementary schools held vibrant Read Across America themed days where community members, parents, staff, and guests treated students to fun reading activities.
These interactive days sparked creativity and discussions about the profound impact of literature. Dress like a Book Character day transformed students into literary figures, with students and staff bringing characters to life through creative costumes. Following suit, Superhero day saw caped crusaders and masked marvels roaming the halls, embodying the heroic qualities inspired by their favorite tales. Crazy Hat and Crazy Sock day inspired students and faculty to adorn themselves with wacky headwear and vibrant footwear.
Beyond the festivities, this week long event served as a poignant reminder of the enduring significance of literacy in shaping young minds and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
