Baldwin Park Unified Adult School to Serve as COVID-19 Testing Site

Free drive-through COVID-19 tests will be provided from Tuesday, April 14 through Saturday, May 9 at Baldwin Park Unified Adult and Community Education Center to Baldwin Park residents who exhibit symptoms of the illness or who have had contact with a person confirmed to have the illness.

The tests are being provided through a partnership that includes Vital Medical Services, Baldwin Park Unified and the City of Baldwin Park.

“It is imperative that we unite with our city and local officials to meet the demanding need for COVID-19 test sites,” Superintendent Dr. Froilan Mendoza said.

Residents must register at www.baldwinpark.com for the free drive-through test, which will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at 4640 N. Maine Ave., Baldwin Park.

No medical insurance is required. Appointments are prioritized for individuals over 65 years old or who have underlying chronic health conditions. Tests also are available to employees of businesses in Baldwin Park.

Symptoms for COVID-19 are flu-like and can include fever, cough and shortness of breath.
