The Sierra Vista High School boys varsity soccer team made school history by winning the CIF Southern California Regional Division IV title after beating Troy High School 5-4 on March 2.
After a sudden-death overtime ended in a 1-1 tie, the Sierra Vista Dons pulled out a victory against Troy in penalty kicks, 5-4. The Dons’ March 2 victory came a week after the team became the first boys sports program in school history to secure a CIF Southern Section title.
